OMR Vision: Scan & Grade ("App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you sign in using Google, we receive basic profile details such as your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Camera Access: Used only for scanning OMR sheets.
• Storage Access: Used to select images/PDF files and save scan results locally on your device.
• Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymized usage data such as device type, app interactions, and crash reports.

2. OMR Scanning & Data Processing

All OMR detection, grading, and image processing are performed offline using on-device technologies. Your data remains fully under your control unless you manually export or share it.

3. Permissions Used

• Camera: To scan OMR sheets
• Storage / Files: To select images/PDFs and save processed results locally

No files or documents are uploaded to any external server.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication: For secure Google login
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: For performance monitoring and usage insights
• Google Play Billing: For subscription and payment processing

Firebase Analytics collects anonymized technical and usage data only. It does NOT collect scanned images, documents, or exam data.

5. Data Storage

• All scanned images and results are stored locally on your device
• We do NOT store personal files on our servers
• We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data

6. User Control Over Data

Users have full control over their data:

• All scanned data is stored locally on your device
• You can delete files anytime manually
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time:

• Open the app
• Go to Account / Settings
• Tap "Delete Account"
• Confirm deletion

Once deleted:

• Your account and authentication data are permanently removed
• Associated cloud data (if any) is deleted

8. Data Security

All communication with third-party services is secured using HTTPS encryption.

Some data processed through Firebase services may be handled on secure servers operated by Google.

9. No Sensitive Data Collection

We do not collect or process sensitive personal data such as:

• Financial information
• Biometric data
• Government identification numbers

10. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for educators and institutions. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
